By Robert E. Hanna

Scripture Reading: Revelation 20:11-15

As members of the Body of Christ, we are one with Him.  No closer relationship exists; we are ''builded together for an  habitation of God through the Spirit" (Ephesians 2:22). Our  identification with Christ is so complete, so absolute, that we  are unconditionally assured of our entrance into eternal glory  to dwell forever in His presence. "For our citizenship is in  heaven, from whence we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus  Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be  fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the  working whereby He is able to subdue all things unto Himself'  (Philippians 3:20-21).

Those of us whose position is described above are going  to experience what surely will be the most beautiful event in  all the days of creation. "For the Lord Himself shall descend  from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and  with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up  together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the  air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord" (I Thessalonians  4:16-17).

This event includes all in Christ, for "them also which  sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him" (verse 14). "We shall  not all sleep, but we shall all be changed" (I Corinthians 15:51).  So much for those of us rejoicing in the assurance of our  salvation but what of the UNSAVED? There will come  another event: "And whosoever was not found written in the  book of life ... "
